Insane Dashcam Footage Captures a Maniac's Road Rage As He Rams a Driver Head On And Tries To Push Him Off a Bridge, All Because He Got Lights Flashed At Him
(ABC 7) ONTARIO, Canada -- An Ontario driver captured a terrifying road-rage incident on his vehicle's dashcam, during which another vehicle intentionally rammed into his multiple times on Monday, December 30 - at one point seeming to try to ram his car off a bridge.
According to a statement on Facebook, after the incident, the Ontario Provincial Police "made several attempts to stop the vehicle, which resulted in the deployment of a spike belt. The suspect vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested."
The suspect was charged with "two counts of assaulting police with a weapon (the accused's vehicle), assaulting police causing bodily harm, criminal harassment, mischief endangering life, resisting arrest, assault with a weapon, dangerous driving, fleeing police, and two counts of disobeying court orders," according to a local news report.
Road rage is a fascinating activity to get into. I'm more or less a pussy, so if I become infuriated at a fellow roadsman I'll mutter a curse word or two with the windows fully up and my music on blast so there's no way they could hear me. It's cathartic and a nice release of built up anger that's been mounting over the previous few days.
As I've gotten a little older I've learned in general to keep myself more reserved when bad things happen. Like when you're an out away from winning a $40k bet on the Yankees to win Game 1 of the World Series and then Nestor Cortes comes in relief and serves up a walk off grand slam to Freddie Freeman. I've learned to just accept those sort of things, laugh them off, and move onto the next moment. Sure, in my head I'm channeling my inner supervillain and setting fire to everyone within 300 feet of me, but on the outside I'll just go on unbothered.
Then you have this guy in Canada. He subscribes to a different strategy of handling his rage. All that seemed to happen here was the guy behind him flashed his lights because he was swerving in and out of a lane on the highway.
In an interview, Turner said he thought the driver was set off because he flashed his high-beams after the driver swerved into oncoming traffic. Turner said he meant the flashing as a helpful warning.
That's all it took for this maniac to blow every fuse in his brain and go full Paris from MI7.
Feast your eyes on a truly insane person.

This all over having lights flashed at. You'd think someone drove by with a fully automatic machine gun and opened fire. Maybe his beloved family member was kidnapped in the trunk? Nope, just some lights turned him into a full-blown rage monster.
I also love how the victim here is the most stereotypical Canada beta in the world. His biggest daily conflict is deciding his coffee order and whether to switch it up because he's feeling dangerous. Now here comes Homelander, hellbent on pushing his car off a goddamn bridge. What a video.

Let's call a spade a spade. While the aftermath surely wasn't worth the moment, it probably felt awesome to let go and teleport into a Grand Theft Auto video game for a few minutes. Let's call a spade a spade. Very illegal, very bad, but also probably very fun in the moment.
