Petty Queen - Woman Forced To Return A Toilet She Stole From Her Office After Losing Election

NY Post - A former city councilor in Brazil who lost her bid for re-election returned a toilet and two sinks that she had taken from her office bathroom when she left the job on Jan. 1.

Janaína Lima’s staffers were captured on the office’s security cameras hauling away the bathroom facilities after the former Sao Paulo New Party councilwoman’s term wrapped up at the end of 2024.

“I decided to donate the equipment I acquired with my own resources to the chamber,” she clarified in a statement on X after receiving heavy backlash for the move on social media.

“Obviously, neither I nor my advisers need a toilet.”

All timer. One of the funniest things to me is reading just how petty people can get in this world. Like the guys who pay traffic tickets with nickels or a million other things that prove a point of they will do something they don't wan't to do and let you know about it. Pettiness at it's core. 

Like this example from Buzzfeed article way back in the day.

We now have a petty queen with this move. Who takes a fucking toilet out of their office? Absolutely psychotic move and I'm here for it - strictly for how unintentionally funny it is. 

Now it should be noted that Lima installed the toilet with her own money so technically it belongs to her and not the council but there's certain things you just don't need to do. This is like the equivalent of taking the water or ice out of the ice cube trays when you move out of a house. Are they technically yours? Sure, but who does that? Lunatics. So you could say this lady is nuts and that's so true, but we need wackos like this in the world to keep us laughing. Taking a sink and toilet (you have no use for) from an office you used for 8 years just because you lost a re-election is a peak inside a monster's brain and we need more of that in the world. Pure comedy.
