Remember when the Lions went into Green Bay on Sunday Night Football, the last game of the regular season, with nothing to play and ruined the Packers season? Well, that was this night. The night that Dan Campbell declared all roads go through Detroit. Was he just doing his normal fire everyone up speech? Probably. But he nailed it. Since then the Lions have gone 27-7 in the regular season and clinched their first ever 1 seed. Pretty good!

I know people out there like to clown on Campbell now whenever he fails for one of his gambles. A lot of people will say he won't win in the playoffs doing that shit because of what happened against the 49ers last year. But let's just take a moment and realize we're talking about the Detroit Lions here. They were arguably the biggest loser franchise in all of sports. No one ever thought they'd win. We saw them waste Barry Sanders, Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson and now we're here. Even Jared Goff knows how important Dan Campbell is:

They get to take any victory lap they want. You go out and win 15 games, do it with all these injuries on the defensive side of the ball, you can remind people what Dan Campbell said 2 years ago. No one and I mean no one thought the Lions would be this good, this fast after that win to finish 9-8. They were a couple plays/decisions away from playing for a Super Bowl last year.
