Model Draya Michele, Age 39, Is Going Viral After Taking Her 22 Year Old Son Courtside To See His 22 Year Old Stepdad Jalen Green Hoop
Let me start off by saying that this will be my favorite headline of the entire year and it's only January 6th. I've written about model and Basketball Wives legend Draya Michele a few times on this blog:
Hubbs wrote a blog last month about her encounter with her ex boyfriend and NFL journeyman legend Tyrod Taylor:
In case you're new to the Draya Michele game, that relationship didn't come as much of a surprise as she's been allegedly romantically linked to checks notes Orlando Scandrick, Tyrod Taylor, Chris Brown, Paul Pierce, Kenyon Martin, Gilbert Arenas, and a bevy of other notable celebrities that I don't care to list. I don't really want to go into the details of any of those relationships, because we're here to talk about what went down at the recent Houston Rockets game that has caught the attention of the Internet.
Draya and Jalen have been linked for quite some time now, and even have a child together. The problem that Twitter is having is that her son Kniko is the same exact age as Jalen, who by definition is his stepfather? I'd pay some good money to hear the conversations that Jalen and Kniko have together, much like you and your boys did when you were 22. Do they just play Call of Duty and NBA 2K together and shoot the shit? Doesn't sound that half bad to have a dad who understands all the memes you do, unless you've got an older dad who is just chronically online already and knows who the Costco Guys are or something.
I did get a good chuckle at the tweet that asked if he calls him "pops or bro" though. I also laughed at the tweets calling out the son for having one of those StockX shoe tags (essentially verifying they're real) on his very expensive shoes in case anyone thought that the multi-millionaire mom and NBA player on a $40 million contract couldn't afford it. And while we don't know the dynamics of their relationship, Google defines a stepfather "as a man who is the husband or partner of one's parent after the divorce or separation of the parents or the death of one's father," so by definition he is I think?
