A December To Never Remember - Doug Gottlieb And Green Bay Go 0-7 In December After He Jokingly Tweeted No One Works In December
Remarkable. Truly remarkable.
For those not in the know. Doug Gottlieb took over at Green Bay this season after begging for years to get a head coaching job. It's a tough program to win at and Doug knew he would be in for a tough haul year 1. But he didn't help himself when he jokingly (or maybe seriously when you consider everything) tweeted that no one works in December which set off a fire storm on Twitter.
Things got even worse when he shot his mouth off about "Nobody U" aka Michigan Tech a D2 team who beat him outright.
And now things have hit rock bottom that he's 0-7 in the month he joked about not working.
What a joke. Listen I was Gottlieb's biggest hater of all time at one point.
But at this point I'm just reporting facts. The guy is in over his head. Also he DOES A FUCKING RADIO SHOW EVERY DAY FOR 3 HOURS WHILE HE'S COACHING. He' not cut out to be a coach, he steps on the rake every chance he gets, and worst of all he's arrogant. It's safe to say this experiment has been a disaster. He will be lucky to finish out the year.
Just an all time disaster year from Gottlieb.
And to make matters worse he's got team discipline issues and he's lucky the lights turn on in the building.
