Play The Hits: Adam Sandler Dropped The First 'Happy Gilmore 2' Trailer Right In The Middle Of Christmas

Adam Sandler, you marketing genius. Everyone knows Happy Gilmore 2 is happening, everyone is basically in it. I mean we have a cameo from Travis Kelce to start it all off. But then you have the names we know. Virginia Venit and Shooter McGavin

Even the famous Bruins sweater. Hell, that scene with McGavin has him standing at Chubbs' grave. We're going to play the hits and frankly, good. I keep saying it with this movie. Just be somewhat funny and that's all that matters. It's not going to be the same as the original, it's not going to capture that legacy. But if it's funny I don't care, I'll watch it. It's a low bar, I know, but we shouldn't have some high expectations for Happy Gilmore 2. Be funny and entertain me and I'll consider it a win for the movie franchise. 

I can't help but respect the move of dropping it right in the middle of Christmas. Did it before the NBA games tipped off, before the NFL kicked off and we all go into the coma after putting together toys, eating, whatever people are doing today. Elite timing and now we have our first look at the movie.
