Jon Gruden Believes That The NFL Should Change All Defensive Pass Interference Penalties To 15 Yards

On today's Pardon My Take... JON GRUDEN! The Coach and Barstool Sports personality joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter once again in-studio to talk some ball, who he thinks is going to win MVP, things that are driving him nuts in the league right now, and more.

We all love the National Football League, but there is no question that there are some changes that could be made. When asked about what he would do if he were in a position of power, Coach Gruden did not hesitate: he would change ALL defensive pass interference penalties to 15 yards. He gave his thoughts in detail on today's show. Take a look...

I see both sides of the coin with this issue. If a 50-yard pass attempt in the NFL is interfered with, shouldn't a wide receiver have the right to get those yards back that he would have potentially caught? For sure.

On the flip side, if a pass interference is called on a play, and it's a 50-50 call, a 15-yard penalty would lighten the impact on that type of penalty. I agree with Coach Gruden in the sense that this would not alter the outcomes of games as much as it does right now.

We know that the NFL changes things up year in and year out, so this is certainly something worth monitoring...
