"Get my dick out ya mouth and find purpose", Davante Adams is Enjoying His Bye Week By DM'ing Raiders Fans on Twitter

I always wonder when professional athletes pop off in the DM's at nobody's on Twitter, how do they think it's going to go? When Davante Adams hit send on that message, did he think to himself, "This will teach @bgthevet the lesson. He'll think twice before calling me emotional again."

There's no way Davante can gain anything from that. It almost never works. The only athlete who's ever managed to argue with trolls on the internet and come out on top Kevin Durant. And he looked like a total clown in doing so for years, until he reached a point where he was so persistent and so unapologetically sensitive that it became hilarious and people were left with no choice but to respect how committed he was to the lifestyle.

It also helps that Kevin Durant is arguably a top 10 player to ever play the game of the basketball. Davante Adams is a great player, but he'll never sniff what KD has accomplished. He's in the midst of the one of the most embarrassing seasons in NY Jets history. My point is that there's no world where Davante Adams DM's that to a stranger (who barely said anything really), and doesn't come out looking like a "bitch lol emotional ass dude". All he did was prove the guys point. Just don't send the DM man. Just ignore it. Becuase then @bgthevet is going to message whatever 14-year old kid took over Dov Kleimen's account and shake him down for a hundred bucks in exchange for a screenshot of your DM. And now people know they can get to you, you're going to start getting it 10x worse than you already were.

In his defense, "Get my dick out ya mouth and find purpose", is a pretty funny line. Probably sound advice for anybody who incessantly tweets insults at professional athletes. This particular Raiders fan is apparently upset that he didn't receive Davante's vote for Raiders Week 10 Fan of The Week back in 2022.

Maybe I'm looking at this wrong (I'm not). The satisfaction of calling a fan a miserable life fuck boy clown in the DM's might be worth the risk of being exposed every now and then (it isn't). Maybe I should try it sometime (I might). And maybe now that he has that off his chest, he'll start playing a little lighter and help lead the Jets to 6 straight wins and sneak into a wildcard spot… (it won't)
