Respect The Game: Kansas City Beat Calvary (Apparently A Real School) By 100, Head Coach Marvin Menzies Praises The Team For 'Not Taking Them Lightly'

There's a lot of dumb things in college basketball, one of the dumbest is this. Teams playing non-Division I teams. Hell, this wasn't even a real school. We're talking about a school that has 400 kids in it:

That's how you win a game by 100. Still absurd to see the score 119-19, it's tough to only score 19 points. I don't care who you are, who you're playing, you gotta be able to get more than 19. But what I love? Marvin Menzies talking about playing until the final whistle:

Can't take a team lightly when they can't dribble. You gotta play until the final whistle. You play for wins! He's right there, but then again, maybe play a real team? At least play a school that has 1,000 kids. I'm pretty sure you're talking about guys who could barely crack JV in high school on this Calvary team, again, apparently a real school. That's why there's basically one highlight from this game:

There's far too many teams in Division I so this should never happen. We need to all agree no more games against fake teams. You gotta play one of the other Division I schools that people hardly know about. Get Le Moyne on the schedule. Get Stonehill or Mercyhurst. Congrats on the win though. That's how you respect the game.
