The Giants Continue To Be So Goddamn Stupid - Tommy DeVito Is The Starting QB Because Brian Daboll Now Reportedly Needs To Win To Keep His Job

God damnit. What are we doing here? I will die on the hill that I don't want to fire Brian Daboll. I want to see him with a quarterback who he actually wants and isn't forced to deal with. I want to see him with a fresh slate because you're not out here dealing with Daniel Jones. I'm not saying he's Tom Coughlin winning 2 Super Bowl's here, but he's a good enough coach that it's dumb to fire him and go through the whole cycle that we've been stuck in for a decade now. You're not convincing Ben Johnson to take the Giants job. You're going to be a middle of the pack job opening, at best, right now. Yeah, let's not deal with the Ben McAdoo, Joe Judge, Pat Shurmur shitshow again. 

Not to mention, we don't want to win ANY of these games left. Fuck that. Coach for your job so you can handcuff this team and pick at like 8 again? Yeah, that's what we want to do! Smart move there, Mara, you fucking asshole. Every fan wants to lose out. We're sick of seeing this happen. Be a terrible team, win some games we shouldn't and cost ourselves a chance at a top pick. Hell, there's a reason that things are 'awkward' with Daniel Jones. Everyone knew he wasn't the guy and Daboll desperately wanted Drake Maye. Could have had a chance to draft him if you don't win a handful of games (with Tommy DeVito) that you shouldn't have even tried in. 

Again, I blame John Mara for this disaster. He hired Dave Gettleman, who sucked. He keeps bringing in a rotating cast of characters for GM/coach. He can't be hands off. He doesn't think about what's better for the franchise and instead thinks of 'fan favorite' or 'what will people think of me.' He's a loser who is the reason we have taunting penalties in the NFL. Get the Gettleman trash out of here and let Schoen and Daboll try - at least a year - with their guy.
