Taysom Hill Put The Saints On His Back And Outscored The Entire Browns Team By Himself
Look I know I'm supposed to give my Browns takes after the game, but the fact of the matter is I could not give two fucks about this disgrace of an organization. I walked into the Gambling Cave this afternoon and said my play was Browns -1, and to my shocking dismay, everyone said that was their play of the day as well. We're talking about the 2-7....now 2-8....Cleveland Browns on the road, right? And then within 15 seconds, everyone on the couches could see how big of a mistake it was that we all bet on this dumpster fire. Yeah, Jameis Winston threw for 395 yards. Yeah, Jerry Jeudy had his best game in a Browns uniform. And yeah, Denzel Ward had the trifecta of an interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.....but Dustin Hopkins offset that with a trifecta of his own by missing 3 field goals IN THE FIRST HALF.
Alright, that's enough Browns talk. They're 2-8 and I don't give a fuck what they do until it's time to discuss if we're sticking with Deshaun or drafting a QB #1 overall. The main story from today was Taysom Hill and how he outscored Cleveland all by himself.
His final stat line was: 18 passing yards, 138 rushing yards, 50 receiving yards, and a kick return for 42 yards. Oh, and 3 touchdowns:
1. 10 Yard Rush to Take The Lead
2. 33 Yard Rush On 4th and 1 To Retake The Lead
3. 75 Yard Rush To End The Game
And he even threw an Interception and lost a Fumble for good measure. People in the industry are calling it a Statigami.
Coach should've let him get a tackle and really make it the most well-rounded, dominate game in the history of the sport. And honestly, with the way the Browns season has gone, there's a good chance he would've gotten a strip sack on Jameis and housed it for another touchdown. There's nothing out of the question when it comes to this team. And the good news is we get to see them in just 4 short days, seeing as we host the 8-2 Steelers in Cleveland on Thursday night football this week. Feels like a 31-0 blowout. Perhaps a Myles Garrett helmet swing to keep things interesting.
