The Guardians Are Going With The "Look Good, Play Good" Motto In 2025 As Their New Uniforms Are FRESH

So the Guardians announced this morning that they would be refining their uniforms for 2025, and while the changes are not drastic like going from Indians to Guardians or a Chief Wahoo to....man I still hate that stupid cartoon G and baseball logo that looks like it came out of the arcade in Toy Story. But point being, the changes are slight, but I think I love them. Sort of like how I expect the team to be next season. Only slight changes....but even better. 

Anyways, the team unveiled their new threads via social media, starting with the home whites and a new red hat:

"The logo shifts from a slant to a horizontal" sounds like we need to change the uniforms to sell more to make more money, but aside from that, I think they look very clean and I think the red hats are pretty cool. I still like the old C better, but maybe within the next decade or so I'll finally get over it. 

Next we have the Road Greys:

Again, solid. Clean. Fresh. Love the piping. Love the color scheme. These are good road uniforms.

Next up, the alternate Reds at Home:

So we went from the script to the print font. I personally like the change because I think the script font makes it seem like we're still trying to sneak an "Indians" by the fans. I like this look better.

Next up, alternate blues on the road:

These are my favorites of the new uniforms. Haters are saying they look too much like batting practice jerseys, but my argument would be how often do you wear your road alternate jerseys?  These aren't our every day thing, so I'm cool with the look from time to time. And I love the big ass C on the chest.

Finally, the City Connect are here to stay:

Probably the best City Connect in baseball (and we play really well in them too).

Overall, I give the new uniforms next year an A. I like all of the changes. I still hate the Guardians logo and the name change, but you gotta play the cards you are dealt. And we have played them well with these uniforms for 2025.

**Please note there's still no hat with the Guardians logo on it. Doesn't that seem like they might change it at some point??
