'You're Not Going To Be Able To Breathe For 40 Straight Minutes' - Mark Pope's Threats To Kentucky's Opponents Is Even More Proof He's The Perfect Coach

This right here is all Kentucky fans have been begging for. I say this because at the same time I can't look at Twitter and not see this clip:

You tell me which coach, strictly based on those clips, you'd rather have running your program? One who doesn't know their next opponent or one who is going to come and come and come and come (same). All I'm saying is I saw one coach refuse to die, adapt and make coaching changes to beat Duke and one who struggled against Troy. You make the call.

There's something about having a sense of a new era. There's something about one of your own being in charge of the program you love more than anything else. I have hope. There's a feeling about Kentucky basketball that we haven't had in years. One where it didn't feel like a pit stop. One where a coach truly cared about Kentucky instead of talking down about it all while not winning titles.

Strangle you for 40 minutes? Constant coming? That's what I want to hear. He's embracing Rick Pitino at Kentucky which is fine by me. Rick Pitino is one of the 5 best coaches this game has ever seen. Give me that sort of guy and get us to titles again. All I've heard after we won is Cooper Flagg this and that. Jay Williams is on Twitter lecturing people why they are talking about Cooper Flagg. Good, market him. Market him for the loss. We'll just strangle you for 40 minutes, get a win and move on to the next one.
