You Can Now Buy The Batmobile From The Dark Knight Trilogy For Three Million Dollars

"Hey uhh Uncle Dana....whaddya say we hit the baccarat tables once again?"

Right off the heels of The Penguin's amazing finale, when The Batman chatter feels more active than it's been in years - Warner Bros is cashing in on that hype by announcing that they'll be selling TEN Dark Knight Trilogy Batmobile replicas (which are "fully functional but not street legal") for a whopping three million dollars a pop!

I'm not sure it's truly "fully functioning" if it doesn't shoot guns/missiles/turn into a motorcycle called the Batpod when too much damage has been inflicted to the vehicle, but the website looks like a Wayne Enterprises homepage....

….and it's actually made with kevlar which it lists out in all the specs….

….so I'll cut them some slack on the generous use of "fully functioning" there. It's nice to know the Batmobile has Premium GPS; way to shell out for the good stuff, Alfred! And no duh it's not street legal - it's the fucking Batmobile!

Can I be honest, though? Even as a guy whose favorite movie of all time is The Dark Knight, if I had $3mil to burn on a Batmobile, that wouldn't be my first choice. Or even my second.

I actually remember seeing pictures of the "Tumbler" for the first time pre-Batman Begins and kinda hating it! I was only a little kid at the time, and had watched reruns of the Adam West Batman series constantly when I was growing up, so I always loved that classic Batmobile the best….

I loved that they were sleek, souped-up cars full of gadgets that looked straight out of a comic book. When I first saw Christopher Nolan's Batmobile, I just thought it looked like a tank - not a car. It wasn't until I saw the movies that I of course fell in love with the very practical Bale Batmobile, which, reminder, turns into a motorcycle called the Batpod when the vehicle has taken too much damage. It's one of the coolest things ever in a Batman movie. Shoutout Lucius Fox.

God, The Dark Knight is so fucking good.

It might just be my Penguin hype speaking, but if they deliver us a Batmobile scene as good as the one in The Batman in The Batman 2….

….I think the Matt Reeves/Robert Pattinson Batmobile might even overtake the Tumbler next for me. That's only if they knock it outta the park like that again, though, because that may be my favorite Batmobile scene ever - thanks in part to Colin Farrell's amazing cocky/terrified performance there as well.

P.S. It wouldn't be my FIRST Batmobile choice, but if there's any OnlyFans models willing to buy this for me, I'll take it….
