Suns Rookie Oso Ighodaro's Shooting Form Is The Ugliest Thing You'll See All Day

Inb4 you're a fatass white NARP

I am no expert in the mechanics of basketball but this is bad. REAL bad. So bad it makes me wonder how horrible the coaches at Marquette are that not once in FOUR YEARS did they correct this. So bad that I'm shocked that in the 2024 NBA, where bigs need to be able to stretch, that he was even drafted! How does this happen???

There are three things I will take solace in here.

1. It's not the ugliest shot I've ever seen. Not even within the franchise. Shawn Marion, MKG, Joakim Noah, Kevin Martin. All terrible.

2. Most of those guys had pretty good careers. If Kevin Martin could take that same, hip/chest starting shot and be a pretty good player, why can't it work out for Oso too?

3. Maybe the Suns just never ask him to take an outside shot? In four years and 100+ games at Marquette, he only took 2 threes.

I want to believe in all these things but the reality is that you really do want your bigs to at least be able to shoot. So far, it hasn't mattered though as my beautiful baby boys are 1st place in the West. Budenholzer's pace is doing wonders for the offense and the only downside is that Durant and Beal are 100% gonna get ground into injury some point in the next month. Until then, I'm gonna keep watching the threes rain down.
