'I Didn't Study' - Ja'Marr Chase Reminded Some Nerd That He Went To LSU To Play Football After Being Asked If Playing On TNF Is Like Cramming For A Test

The legacy of Cardale Jones lives on. This will be the last time any journalist thinks about asking Ja'Marr Chase or any other big time college football player about studying for tests. They didn't study, alright. They were there to win games, bring in money and championships and play football. We also need to stop using school as a comparison for football. No playing on a Thursday night isn't like cramming for a test. Cramming for a test is staying up late reading index cards and notes and books. Thursday Night Football is trying not to get injured.

This should always be the answer if you're a major athlete at a major school. No more of this studying nonsense. We all know you go to college because you have to. You can't go right to the NFL or NBA. They go to college to major in their sport. I don't know why people still pretend to be shocked that these guys don't care about Algebra 101. When you can make plays like Ja'Marr Chase you don't need to worry about what x equals on a Wednesday morning.

You don't get the saying It Just Means More in the SEC unless you have former stars talking like this. Now, I know at a prestigious academic school like Kentucky it can be shocking to hear former basketball players say things like this, just like LSU football. Just know that these guys came to play football, not school. Don't you dare think about asking them about studying.
