Commies Trade For Marshon Lattimore!!!!

Look at that! Amazing. I said this morning on BMitch and Finlay that it would make a TON of sense to get a guy like Lattimore who can help the number one position of need this season and still be under contract next season. And that is EXACTLY what Adam Peters did! 

Look at it this way- this team is 7-2. It is really hard to be 7-2 in the NFL. So while it was supposed to be a "rebuilding year", Adam Peters decided to pivot because shit, you don't want to be headstrong when you have a chance to do something special immediately. 

And the Commanders *can* do something special with a top tier CB. Corner has been a big weakness all season, and once he is healed up from the hamstring injury it's such an upgrade. And just for a 3rd round pick! If our current batch of CBs was leading a top 15 defense, imagine what they'll be able to do with Lattimore in the mix. It's literally a perfect trade (if he's healthy).

Going from "this is a rebuilding year" to "we can go to the Super Bowl" in 9 weeks is fucking NUTS. And it's entirely possible thanks to Jayden Daniels. The way he has completely resurrected this franchise, alongside with Adam Peters and Dan Quinn and that coaching staff...man. And we have $100 million in cap space heading into next season. It's such a great time to be us.
