A Beautiful Father-Son Moment: Mark Few Puts His Son In To Help Gonzaga End The Game, VJ Edgecombe Promptly Baptizes Him In Front Of America

As a father, there's nothing like seeing your kids have success. Learn the alphabet, learn to spell their name the first time, the first time my 5-year old sat down and followed my lead of saying how much we hate Duke could bring a tear to my eye. So with Gonzaga beating the everliving shit out of Baylor last night, Mark Few got to experience that sort of moment. Brought in his son to help close out the game in Spokane, let him get some run and join the list of great sons used as victory cigars. Brad Calipari, Steven Izzo, Andrew Hurley, Tyler Self. The list goes on and on.

Then VJ Edgecombe happened. Man was sick and tired of getting his ass kicked, probably pissed he was still in the game and decided to take it out by putting his nuts square on Joe Few's forehead

Good God. I know, I know. Dunks aren't cool anymore, except when they are like this. And yeah, it didn't matter. Gonzaga can laugh all they want because they were the most impressive team in the country yesterday. We all can agree on this and the fact that nobody can talk about their conference come February. Deal? Gonzaga is good, just say it, move along and stop complaining about the WCC. Also kinda fitting this dunk happened at roughly 1:50am on a Monday night. Nothing like the most hyped game of the day being a 40-minute ass kicking only to end with a top-5 pick baptizing a coach's son. In fact that might sum up college basketball more than anything else.
