Every 90's Basketball Fan Should Be On The Cal Bandwagon This Year Now That Steph Marbury's Son Walked-On The Team, Joins Peja's Kid

I don't know how this flew under the radar but out of nowhere yesterday Cal announced this. Steph Marbury's son walking on the team. First of all, how is Steph's son a walk-on? That guy couldn't play anywhere? Do we remember how awesome Steph was at basketball? I know we all remember him for some weird shit he did like randomly eating Vaseline on social media. But that guy was AWESOME.

And this isn't one of those oh man I feel so old. I blog this while wearing a boot from a basketball injury and as I start stealing my kid's Halloween candy. Oh no, this is just alerting those 90s basketball fans that you have a team to cheer for in college this year. See, it's not just Steph's kid on the roster.

Another dude that should be talked about way more is Peja. Yeah we all remember him, but again, way better than he gets credit for. Still can't believe the Kings were robbed of a Finals. That team was one that I think every person my age loved. They had it all from Vlade's good looks to star power in Chris Webber and then the perfect pieces with Bibby, Bobby Jackson, Peja, even Doug Christie, etc. Robbed I tell you.

Now you have those two on Cal? That's how you bring some attention to ACC basketball. We don't have the traditional ACC anymore. The rivalries are barely there since we're somehow forced to believe Stanford and NC State are in the same conference. Not to mention Mark Madsen is the coach here? Let the man dance and he should only recruit son's of 90s/early 2000s NBA players. Seems like a good recipe.
