The Saban Era Is Long Gone - Alabama Is Focusing On Things Like Tucking Their Shirts In And Showing Up To Meetings On Time To Turn Its Season Around

I understand when things aren't going great, you do things like this. However, you don't need to publicize it. We've already seen wardrobe controversy at Alabama:

Big T talked about them losing their swagger in Knoxville

And, yeah, welcome to replacing arguably the greatest college football coach we've seen. I don't care who you are, 99.9% of people in college football would fail in year 1 after replacing Saban. But now we're talking about showing up to meetings on time? Tucking your shirts in? Buddy, this is Alabama. I've seen this shit at Kentucky:

I'm man enough to admit Kentucky isn't in the same tier as Alabama football. Sure, they are both SEC teams, but even I can't say we're close. Except now. Except the fact we're focusing on things like tying our shoes and not embarrassing ourselves. I still think Deboer is going to be good, not Saban good, but good. But you can't have this. You can't have guys talking about focusing on small things like tucking your shirts in.

I don't know how this helps. I know the football world is different. Alabama is far from the first or last team to talk about re-focusing on small things like this. But you don't expect to hear anyone from Alabama talk like this. I'm sure their fanbase is being reasonable about it all too. They never freak out over a couple losses and things like we gotta tuck our shirts in.
