For Knicks Fans Only: Listen To Jalen Brunson And Trust Thibs Because For The First Time In 30 Years We're Title Contenders

I know it's still football season. One of my problems with the NBA and basketball in general is scheduling. Embrace the fact that we're still in football season and push it all back. Either way, the Knicks are back tonight. Jalen Brunson is back tonight. That matters because this stat is now one of the past:

Charlie Ward! Either way, I saw that tweet and started thinking more and more about it. It's time to just embrace who we are as Knicks fans. Delusional? Sure. But we've also seen rock bottom. We've seen rebuilds fail, terrible hires and worst signings. That's not the case anymore. We're a legit title contender. People will laugh about it because people don't think the Knicks can do anything. I get it. I'm old enough to remember when it was the other way. When the Knicks were thought of as title contenders, when we expected to be there and making runs in the playoffs. But I say to listen to Jalen Brunson because he's our superstar, he's our leader, he's our franchise. He knows they blew it last year against the Pacers, injuries be damned:

This is why you make the moves for Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns. Yes, good players. People for some reason like to act like KAT isn't good. He is, I promise you. Oh and as for Thibs? He ain't changing.

We're not Philly. We don't have superstars sitting out games before the season even starts. Thibs will play these guys as he sees fit and you know what? Good. I trust him. There's a reason he's still head coach of the Knicks and coaching in the playoffs. If he says we're fine, we're fine. Long way to go obviously, but we're fine.

All I'm saying is sit back and embrace the season. We're a good basketball team. Say it to everyone you know because it's finally true. There's a true pecking order on this team and everyone knows their role. They are still pissed off from last year and rightfully so. Ruin ring night.
