Leader: French Soccer Team President Went On TV Right After Losing 5-0 To Publicly Fire Their Coach And Tell The Players It Was All Their Fault

Love the move. Montpellier is dead last in Ligue 1. They have 4 points in 8 matches and just got smoked 5-0 at home. You can't just sit there and take it. No, you have to do the responsible thing. You gotta lead from the front and doing that means you publicly fire your coach and blame all the players for their great job. It really is the perfect quote when he also says it's easier to change your coach than 25 players. Spot the lie, you can't.

I know people still like to scream that they don't like soccer. You're dumb, but hey, everyone gets to live their own lives. The reason I bring this up is this is something we need more of in American sports. I talked about how the tradition of scolding teams needs to come over here:

Give me owners who will go on TV right after an ass kicking and do something about it. Jerry Jones goes on TV, but never does anything. He just says a bunch of dumb shit. That's great for our content and why we all hate the Cowboys, but we need someone to do something like this. Blame the players for their coach getting fired. Talk about the shame of losing at home and then fire a coach. No more waiting for Twitter and some kind words. I want guys to go on TV and let it all out there.

Will they get better? Probably not, still got 25 guys who got a coach fired on the roster. But this is how you make a statement.
