'I'm Not Here To Rebuild. Wherever I'm Gonna Be, I'm Here To Win' - It Took One Quote For Everyone To Think Maxx Crosby Is Getting Traded

Annddd it took less than a week for the next Raiders trade rumor to start coming up. It's not shocking, I guess. Everyone assumes the Raiders are in tank mode, rebuild mode, whatever you want to call it. Now we have Maxx Crosby saying this, he doesn't want to rebuild, he wants to win. Sure, that's all fine. That's how every athlete should think and talk. But then he threw in the 'wherever he's gonna be' line and now every comment, every rumor is him being traded. Hell, you can throw in any team and he's linked there now, the Lions being the leader of the group.

It's worth noting he said this not too long ago:

Obviously he can't control a trade, but he can also demand one. I don't think he is, especially not with this quote. It's just not wanting to lose. He was one of the main reasons Antonio Pierce got the head coaching job. He's a staple of the Raiders and easily their leader. Crosby is fucking awesome, only way to describe how he plays. Put him on the Lions. I want to see him and Campbell together, plus playing on a team that has a chance to win.

Welcome to tanking season though. Every decent player on the Raiders is going to be linked to some sort of trade. No one knows what the hell is going on there. But now that Crosby had this quote, no matter how he said it, every person is just assuming he'll be traded next.
