My Amazing Day With The Viral "Prime Rib Guy"

So unless you're living under a literal rock, you've obviously heard about the viral "prime rib tweet" from the viral "prime rib guy." We used to call him Robbie Fox but now we're just calling "Prime Rib Guy" or "Prime Rob" (A Clem special) or "Prime" (Robbie asked to be called this. Sorry, Deion) or simply "King" or even "Greatest Human Who's Ever Lived." But in case you somehow haven't seen, Robbie got a prime rib sandwich from Eataly yesterday that took the Internet by storm. It went viral on Twitter, is all over every food account, and has really just been one of the biggest stories in the world.

Today, I was really afraid we'd see a whole new Robbie. Viral fame can change a person overnight. I thought Robbie may not even show up today. Or if he did, he might have 9 hookers with him or a crippling drug addiction. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that Robbie hadn't change A BIT.

He was super down to Earth and chill and even almost remembered my name (Timmy is close enough). He even sat next to me today and I got to sniff him when he wasn't looking! (He smelt like prime rib). I will say that when one of our social media people came up to him with a camera and asked him for a quick video, Robbie spit in his face and said "Don't fucking talk to me peasant" but other than that, he's been super nice and personable.

We then did the Rundown together with Frank (airing later today) and Robbie told us the FULL STORY behind the prime rib tweet. You won't want to miss it. It was just an honor to share a microphone with him. But then something even better happened, the Prime Rib King walked 6 of his loyal subjects down to Eataly to get a prime rib with him.

And word had spread to the good people of Eataly. They rolled out the red carpet for "The Prime Rib Guy." People were handing him babies to kiss. Boobs to sign. Bras were being thrown in his face. It was incredible. The cashier said "Thank you so much for the love! We're a small business mom and pop shop just dying to get some exposure!" Robbie paid for all our sandwiches and then left a $200 tip for all the workers. A man of incredible generosity. And taste, as the sandwich far exceeded the lofty expectations that the PRG (prime rib guy) set for it.

I don't what's next for Robbie. Maybe a guest spot on Fallon. Maybe an appearance on Fox News. Maybe he starts an OnlyFans. But I'm excited to see it and will always be grateful for the incredible day he gave me :)
