Rumors Of A New Skyline Chili-Flavored Ice Cream Are All Over The Internet, Cincinnati Continues To Be The Finest Cuisine Capital Of The World

[Source] - The new pint was spotted on the Kroger website, and is described as “a daring fusion of flavors” - a creamy ice cream infused with “warm chili spices,” a swirl of crunchy oyster crackers and shreds of tangy cheese on top.

I know places like New York/New Jersey will argue they have the best food in the world. I know places like Italy or Argentina or anywhere else will scream they have the best. But oh no my friends. It's right here in southwest Ohio. A place where it's nothing but class, sophistication and innovation. Cincinnati, Ohio. And all you need is the proof right here.

Skyline flavored ice cream is about as creative as you can get. It's the most Cincinnati thing you could have. I will go to my grave screaming that Skyline isn't that bad, it's just bad marketing. Chili cheese coneys are delicious, I don't care about the pasta. But the biggest problem Skyline ever had was naming it chili, they need a new name for it. Just call it Skyline. Drop the chili. It's not chili, it's a topping or a sauce.

But now I need this to go both ways. Give me ice cream on top of my Skyline. Make this a true collaboration and get weird with it. Everyone in Cincinnati will try it while the rest of the country tries to stick up their nose at genius ideas. We can't help it. This is how you dabble in fine cuisine. This is why we have Snack Boys at Barstool. Already have a Christmas present lined up for the big fellas from No Quitters (RIPIP)

And for anyone doubting this potential collaboration allow me to remind you of what recently came out. Skyline pizza:

Kroger has since taken the information down off the website. A little early? Perhaps, but this is a lock to happen. You don't tease Cincinnati and the world with this and not do it.
