The Refs In Tonight's Monday Night Football All Need To Be Fired Immediately For Being Shockingly Bad, And Beg The Question, Instead Of Blowing Important, Close Plays Dead, Why Don't They Let Them Play Out and Review Them After?
These refs tonight are shockingly bad. Even by NFL 2024 standards.
There was the play above that literally couldn't have taken place any close to that backjudge's eyeballs without giving him pink eye.
How on Earth do you miss that? Seriously?
And it was contagious.
Reags just blogged about this in particular -
They even had the balls to whistle this for "unnecessary roughness". On an Offensive Lineman!
The final play of the half, on Rodgers' hail-mary that same official (now in the field judge position) had to come in and overrule the initial call made by the other backjudge.
I mean look at this one too.
I'm not just mad at the level of incompetence these guys display on a weekly basis, I'm mad at how they're trained by that jabroni Dean Blandino and his cronies.
Am I crazy for wondering why they aren't told to let plays play out instead of having quick whistles and blowing them dead? That way they can be reviewed and you can be certain to get the call correct?
Oh. Actually, wait.
I forgot…
p.s. - there's still 2 minutes left in this game. look at the penalties so far tonight

p.p.s. - I wasn't even able to submit this for review by the editors before the Bills just got fucked on a made up tuck rule call where the officials blatantly lied about the play being reviewed by the booth. watch this guy lie like a rug straight faced to the crowd.
Case in point RIGHT there. Why rule it the way where it's not allowed to be challenged vs. erring the other way allowing for it? Seems deliberate no? Also, why the hell isn't a bang-bang play like that challenge-able? Aren't those the kinds of plays instance replay review was invented for?
p.p.p.s. - I said it once and I'll say it again
