The Joker: Folie A Deux Is A Musical Without Any Good Songs, Yet I Didn't Hate It

The Joker: Folie A Deux came out last Friday and there was a lot of excitement. Anytime The Joker is portrayed in a movie there is typically a big stir as he's one of the greatest villains of our time.

I actually liked the first Joker movie despite mixed reviews and was excited to see there was a sequel with Lady Gaga. Here was my one minute review right after the film [no spoilers].

It was a musical, but they didn't commit to it enough, because none of the songs were good. I wouldn't want to watch it again, yet I am still intrigued by this movie. I kind of enjoyed the ending, but throughout the 2 hours and 18 minutes, it left me wanting more and it never really delivered on that. I am big into character building and this definitely did that, I just wish it moved along faster so we had more of a potential sequel at the end.

I think this movie is worth seeing, but I'd never watch it again. 6.3/10
