Terrance Crawford Confirms He Turned Down A Fight With Conor McGregor Because He Doesn't Wanna Get Kicked

Team McGregor could use all the wins we could get right now, and I'm counting this as a biiig win.

In the midst of a slightly chaotic livestream last week, Conor McGregor revealed that Turki Alalshikh (Saudi Arabian adviser at the Royal Court/current Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, AKA insanely rich guy who is throwing astronomical money at boxing/mixed martial arts/wrestling right now) offered him a two-fight deal to take on Terrance Crawford in a boxing match and then an MMA fight - but Crawford turned it down because he didn't want to get kicked by McGregor.

Crawford is a 41-0 world champion boxer with 31 KOs, not Grammy/Pulitzer Prize winning musician Kendrick Lamar, as this graphic would suggest.

I don't wanna say you have to take everything Conor McGregor says with a grain of salt at this point, because the Champ Champ speaks the truth more often than not, but every now and then he says some outlandish shit and you don't know what to believe. I certainly didn't know whether to believe this, or if it was just a negotiating tactic to let the UFC know that he had other offers on the table (which isn't allowed under his current contract as far as I know) - but after hearing Crawford confirm it today, it appears he was telling the truth!

Turki Alalshikh got these guys on the phone, offered them the fight, and Crawford went running! He didn't want none! The undefeated boxer started shaking in his boots and had to admit that he doesn't like what would happen in a real fight between him and the Irishman! McGregor, though? He's all game, all the time. He'd hop into the squared circle against the any one of the GOATs tomorrow if you gave him the opportunity. There's no fight he'll turn down.

Only a few more months til the greatest comeback in sports history!
