Younghoe Koo Hits a 58-Yard Field Goal To Beat the Saints Without the Falcons Scoring an Offensive Touchdown

We're so back. The Falcons don't even need an offensive touchdown to beat a division rival and what had been one of the best offenses in the NFL through the first three weeks. Sure, they needed an insanely dumb muffed punt recovered for a touchdown and a tipped pick six, but them's the breaks.

It's a lot easier to accept your offense not scoring a touchdown when the defense and special teams are able to make enough plays to win than if the Falcons had lost this game 24-9. And if you can just get the game to a point where you can give Younghoe Koo a chance at the end, he's going to deliver.

I guess this is just what this team is going to be. The offense might not be incredible, but the defense is going to be good enough to keep them in pretty much every game and Kirk Cousins and Co. will hopefully come up with enough big plays when they're needed to get to 9 or 10 wins. It's not the most fun brand of football I've ever watched, but it beats sucking ass.

Beat Tampa Bay on Thursday and the Falcons will be in the driver's seat in the NFC South with the Panthers on deck after that.
