Hmm: Josh Allen Said It's 'Nice To Have Players Who Don't Care About Stats Or TDs', Everyone Thinks He's Taking A Shot At Stefon Diggs

Remember all those anonymous reports that claimed Josh Allen is the most overrated quarterback in the league? Yeah, that was dumb. It was always dumb and now we're 3 weeks into the season and Josh Allen is playing like an MVP those players should have to step forward and announce who they were that voted for this. Allen is putting up ridiculous stats with Khalil Shakir as his No. 1 receiver. He doesn't have the 'weapons' that everyone loves to argue about when it comes to quarterbacks.

So now after a game where Allen threw for 4 touchdowns to 4 different players he had this to say. Claimed it's nice to have players who don't care about stats or touchdowns. It's fun to play with guys who are happy to have a couple catches and do their job. Naturally everyone and I mean everyone thinks it's a shot at Stefon Diggs. I know the Internet isn't a real place for reasonable takes, but every single person replying to any of the tweets with the quote is saying it's a shot at Stefon Diggs.

I get it. There's been this sort of drama or rivalry constantly talked about for the last year or so and everyone agreed it was time for Diggs and Allen to breakup. Part of what made Diggs a great receiver is the fact he can be a lunatic. He thinks he's open on every route and wants the ball. Welcome to football, that's every wide receiver in the league. There's basically zero wide receivers out there who are considered WR1s that are quiet and don't throw a couple of fits throughout their career. At the same time, you're now giving Allen the ability to just play. He doesn't need to feel like he has to force feed a wide receiver targets or constantly look for one receiver first. All I know is the Bills are loose, the Bills are winning and Josh Allen looks like an MVP. That's all that matters no matter what people want to think.
