'Take Them Damn Brown Bags Off' - Panthers OL Robert Hunt Is Begging For Fans To Show Up To Home Games Now That They Actually Won A Game

I get it. No player wants to show up to a home game see a handful of fans there actually cheering for you and the other handful wearing bags booing from start to finish. But on the other hand, you need the brown bags. Panthers fans shouldn't be jazzed up for one win. They need to force David Tepper out of there. Focus the energy on Tepper since you have a gunslinger at quarterback now. A crafty veteran who is going to apparently lead a high-powered offense all of a sudden.

Hunt is right that people are going to talk about the Panthers. One win doesn't stop people from talking about the horrible Bryce Young trade or the moves David Tepper has done. Those are years-long problems not just one week and a win against the Raiders stopping it all. It's part of being a fan. Hell, it's part of just the NFL. People react week-to-week but it's also a built up thing. When every fan out there decides you're a terrible franchise you need a whole season of winning to get that out of your mouth. Shit, people still talk about Kyle Shanahan being a choke artist and he's coached in multiple Super Bowls. People talk about Kirk Cousins on primetime still or fill in whatever cliche storyline we have. Plus, beating the Raiders isn't exactly changing a narrative win.

So there you go Panthers fans. Take the damn brown bags off. Show up to a home game and support the team. That's all Robert Hunt wants. They were the only NFC South team to get a win this week, that's gotta count for something. You got the Bengals and Bears coming up, you can win those games. I don't think we're ready for the Panthers to have a winning record, but the path is there.
