I don't blame Kay Adams one bit for being very clear that she is not dating Daniel Jones. You don't come out and confirm the Internet rumors when the quarterback is 0-2 and the majority of Giants fans are begging to move on from him. Can't have that juju around you. It's been a running bit all offseason:
People were running wild with it and Kay Adams leaned into the joke. Good for her. But now it's time to take it serious. If Daniel Jones was 2-0, you can keep it going a bit longer. If Daniel Jones got to play Washington his entire career you could probably keep it going longer. But no, Daniel Jones is the next quarterback everyone is watching to see if he gets benched. I know he's not getting benched soon, the Giants aren't going to do it this early in a season. But they will move on from him this offseason if there's the chance. That's a no-brainer.
Now we got a shaved Daniel Jones. Can't be a coincidence with the rumors getting cleared up and the losing streak that the beard is gone
I'm not asking for much here. I just want the Giants to be competitive. Forget winning games, it's been far too long since we actually looked like a real life NFL team. I'm not trying to be greedy, I just want to enjoy a couple Sunday's a year and see some growth. Instead it's holding my breath any time we're on offense or the other team has a 3rd down. Seems to never end well for me and the rest of Giants fans. So, yeah, I don't blame Kay Adams for making sure everyone knows she's not dating Daniel Jones. Can't run with the joke when it's a loss every Sunday. Beat the Browns or whatever.
