OUT OF THIS WORLD: Shohei Ohtani Becomes The First Ever 50/50 Man In Baseball History And He Does It On a Monster 6 Hit, 3 Homer, 10 RBI Day

Video game player/living legend/freak/former best friend of a degenerate gambler Shohei Ohtani did the damn thing. History in Miami and he did it with one of the best individual games you'll ever see. Just an all-time great doing shit you've never seen before in your life. Let's go through his day.

He started off by swiping his 50th stolen base of the season. He would later add one more for good measure just to show off.

He still needed two homers to reach the 50/50 milestone. Lucky for him, there was still a week and a half left in the season. Surely he'd get it done by then. Well, Ohtani, an impatient man, refused to let the fans in Miami wait any longer. Here was homer number 49. Majestic as they come.

And for his fifth hit of the night, the magical 50 bomb. History before your very eyes.

Elite call by Joe Davis. Always love when he's on the call in October. He's no Joe Buck, but he ain't too shabby himself.

Just a historic moment in time. One of those seasons you really have to take a step back and appreciate how lucky we are to be living in a time to witness this. He received a curtain call on the road. Decent day at the park for him, huh?

Is 50/50 less impressive now with the new base running rules and gameplay? No question, but that doesn't mean what he just did this season isn't incredibly impressive and legendary. Guy was handed a deck this year that included no pitching, so he turned his sights elsewhere and made history. What a monster. Makes a $700M contract seem like a bargain.

And a nice reminder, he finally got away from Mike Trout and the Angels, so we get to see this maniac on the big stage in October. Cannot wait.

Update: Just as I hit publish on this blog he hit his 3rd homer of the game. His 6th hit today. 10th RBI. One of the best days at the plate ever. I mean what the fuck? Position player and all, who cares? That's ridiculous. Eyeball tells me 550 feet.

P.S. If he finishes with more homers than Judge I'll be upset. He got 50/50 now stop pitching to him!
