Shaq Refuses To Stop Hating, This Time Declaring He Would Have Put His Hands On Rudy Gobert If They Had Been Teammates

OK Shaq, we get it. You hate Rudy Gobert. Am I the only one who is starting to find all this random Rudy Gobert hating pretty embarrassing at this point? That back and forth with Gobert and Shaq was weeks ago already when Shaq out of nowhere decided to clown Gobert by calling him the worst player of all time

While objectively not true, it's not even a funny dig at this point. It was just our latest example of Shaq hating on a current era center, just like he's done with plenty of other centers in the past. Gobert took the high road as he often does in these situations

and it's pretty clear Shaq is still obsessed about him. My question is this. Outside of the fellow Gobert haters, does anyone think Shaq comes off well here? Oh, so you would have been a bad teammate and punched someone? Very cool! Granted Gobert has a history of that himself so it's not like it would be the first time he gets into a dust-up with a teammate

but that's beside the point. This is more about Shaq's weird obsession hating/talking shit on Rudy Gobert.  It feels like he can't go a single interview without doing it, which is just weird at this point. There's no way you can hate on a player this much just for the hell of it. Especially when the guy you're hating on has mostly been like

"This random and pretty is embarrassing for you"

and you just keep on going, ultimately proving his point. It's not Rudy Gobert's fault he plays basketball in this era where contracts are insane. It's not Rudy Gobert's fault that he was voted a 4x DPOY. It's almost as if this is all rooted in jealousy with Shaq which is insane because why on earth would Shaq need to be jealous of anyone? He's fucking Shaq! But every time he goes and does another interview and gives more sound clips like this, that's all I can think of. He's jealous of the money or the awards or something. It's bizarre.

Who knows, maybe hanging out with Draymond Green, another guy who can't stop taking shots and talking shit on Gobert, on those Inside The NBA sets did something to Shaq's brain when it comes to this topic, because he refuses to give up the bit. No matter how embarrassing it looks for him, he keeps trucking along.

That's some Grade A hating if you ask me
