Pathetic: The NFL Fined Derek Carr $14,000 For Dancing Like Michael Jackson In The End Zone ... The Same Dance They Tweeted Out Celebrating

You can very clearly see the NFL is tweeting this. Not the Saints, not FOX, not someone else. I bring that up because this is the news today:

I think we need a common sense rule here. If the league uses the dance on its own Twitter account, uses emojis and laughs about it all, you can't fine a guy. In fact, you shouldn't be able to penalize or fine a guy for celebrating at all. It's a professional sports league and seems simple. Dudes will celebrate. Don't like it? Fine. Don't let them score. Seems like a simple enough rule for everyone to follow here.

Spare me the crotch grab rule. Everyone knows it's a Michael Jackson dance. Plus it's 2024, this is basically a G-rated event on TV. And again, YOU tweeted it out. Stop reaching for money when you already pocket enough. We don't need these dumb fines, no matter how big contracts are. It's just dumb. I've never met one real person upset that someone celebrated a score or a win. Get Goodell out of here and let's focus on the important stuff. Let dudes have a good time, especially when they are beating the shit out of the Cowboys. Stop fining people for no reason.
