I Am Going To Need Rome Odunze's Dad To Chill On Twitter

Dear Mr Odunze,

Your son, Rome, seems like a nice young man. I am of the belief that you don't often get a nice young man like Rome unless he's raise by a strong, loving, and supportive father. I would just prefer if the support/defense of your son happened privately instead of on social media. 

This all stemmed from a tweet from Dan Orlovsky

Everyone needs to relax. Myself included. We are two games into a season and two games into careers of Caleb and Rome where the Bears have played two very good defenses. Has Rome been lighting the world on fire? No, obviously not. Has Caleb...obviously not. It was definitely NOT on them though. 

Posting the All-22 on twitter can only lead to more controversy though. More distractions. More annoying questions from the media locally and nationally. This play in particular wasn't a Rome play, which maybe Mr Odunze knows too, but wasn't making that point. 

Indy on Sunday. Let's all start rowing in the same direction. Hopefully the interior line can pick up some blocks and the game plan helps protect the QB. We love Rome. We love Caleb. Let's all take a deep breath and not let the Orlovskys of the world divide this project.
