Ranking The All Time Best Indiana Pacers Jerseys After Their New NBA City Jerseys Were "Leaked"

To drum up excitement for the quickly approaching NBA season we've got a team city jersey "leak", and I just googled where the nearest Champ's Sports is to me because I might buy them all. Do people still go to the mall? Can I find these in an East Bay Magazine? I love every jersey Minnesota comes up with, not to mention all of Utah's nods to the old jerseys.

Whenever these new look jerseys come out fan bases are either indifferent, or think the jersey is a disgrace to the franchise. Rarely are fans ever happy with the new look. Greenie seems to think the new Celtics jersey is an abomination to God, and I can't say I disagree. Luckily, God made me a fan of a team with some great looking jerseys - the Flojo, the pinstripes, the Hickory jersey! 0 championships, but damnit at least we'll look good as hell when the Celtics sweep us again.

Of all the city jerseys the Pacers isn't the greatest, but I'm not going to make a final opinion until I see these uniforms on the players.

Right now my only complaint is I wish the Pacers switched it up and went with something a little different. These are just a white version of the Pacer's black city jerseys from last season.

When the black city jerseys got leaked last season I initially thought they were terrible. What the hell is this weird neon graffiti shit? Just give us the pinstripes like we want and we are all happy. Then for the play in tournament group games, we got to see the city jerseys with the new highlighter blue court that gave us permanent vision damage after searing out retinas.

Maybe it's the fact that I've lost the ability to see clearly, but the black city jerseys grew on me, and I even started to miss the new court when they'd switch back to the classic hardwood. SO, my official stance on the white city jersey is it's not as good as the black, but I can't make a judgement until I see them in action. But, I think I speak for all Pacers fans when I say GIVE US THE OLD JERSEYS.

The old jerseys I'd like to see …

4. The Hickory High Jerseys from the movie Hoosiers aren't my favorite to look at by any means, in fact, I think they are kind of ugly. BUT the idea behind them absolutely rules. Taking a classic movie that means everything to the state of Indiana and making it a jersey is an A+ move.  Not sure what else the Pacers could incorporate into a jersey, but I love taking a risk on something like this.

3. I'd take any of the ABA jerseys. The lighter blue looks great, and is a nice switch up from the dark blue the Pacers have gone with since. There's about 6 versions of light blue jersey that would all play.

2. Indiana would lose their mind if the Flojos were brought back without warning. You know it, I know it, why doesn't the Pacer's front office know it.

1. The Yankees invented the pinstripes, but the Pacers perfected them. The Pacers brought back a modern day, light blue version of the pinstripes with their city jerseys a few years ago, but just give me the classics. I'm not sure if it's purely nostalgia, but these are my favorite. Maybe the organization doesn't want to be reminded of wearing these during the Malice at the Palace, but fuuuuck do I miss watching Jermaine O'Neal almost murder someone if his punch connects but he slips play ball in this jersey.
