Good Morning From Your FIRST PLACE Washington Commanders!

Yesssssir. It's good to be the king! Say what you want about this Commanders team, but you CANNOT say they aren't in first place in the NFC East! Haters will say things like "calm down, it's only week 2". Yeah not shit dude, but there are 3 teams in the division not in first place in week 2, and one team that IS in first place. 

Let's think about the rest of the division now and what the season has in store:

The Eagles last night stunk on ice. Nick Sirianni became the laughing stock of the league with his clock management, play calling, and horrific use of the prevent defense.

Now, obviously they were without AJ Brown but still, what a terrible home loss for the Eagles.

The Cowboys got decimated on Sunday. You can't give Dak a zillion dollars to get out-played by Derek Carr in your own stadium. I will never be high on a Cowboys team coached by Mike McCarthy and while I originally predicted the Cowboys would go 10-7, I'm now firmly hoping they are the biggest disappointment in the entire league and limp to a sub-500 record.

And finally, the Giants. Lmao. Credit to Daniel Jones, he was able to look like an average, middle of the road NFL QB against the Commanders god awful secondary….and he almost won the game! The Giants are as bad as it gets. Nabers might murder Jones by week 6. I don't know if people see his sound bites but Kayvon Thibodeaux might be the most annoying player in the league right now. Nothing is going right for the Gmen and I could not be happier.

Look, let's be real, I don't expect the Commies to win the division or anything like that. I just wanted to do a first place blog while we're there. The secondary simply isn't good enough to stay in games. Jayden is awesome but is still a rookie, and the WR room is tissue paper thin. The team is committed to a full rebuild and while it's fun to be in 1st place now, unfortunately it probably won't last. But let this be an early warning sign to the rest of the division…in a few years, the first place blogs will be weekly. Just give us time.
