The Disrespect Towards The NBA Champions Continues After Derrick White Got Hit In The Head During A Scuffle In The Colorado/Colorado St Game

We are reaching an unprecedented level of disrespect when it comes to the NBA Champion Boston Celtics. Now I know what you're thinking. You probably rolled your eyes at that comment because how could the champs be disrespected? Well, for starters people spent all year discrediting what the Celts were doing during the year, suggesting they'd choke in the end. Then when they went 16-3 in the playoffs, it was "they haven't played anybody". Every single media pundit for the most part picked the Mavs to win the Finals

Then once the offseason hit we got the Jaylen Brown/Team USA bullshit, which was immediately followed by the the Steve Kerr/Jayson Tatum bullshit, and then today we even got this absolutely insane NBA Head Coach ranking that had 11 other coaches ahead of Joe Mazzulla

If you're still on the fence about this blatant run of disrespect, may I introduce hitting NBA Champion Derrick White in the head? 

Do you know what kind of asshole you have to be to take a swing at Derrick White? DERRICK WHITE? Perhaps the nicest human being in the history of human beings? I mean you're already a colossal asshole if you find yourself getting into any sort of fight at a sporting event, but swinging so recklessly that you knock Bald Derrick in the head? 

Jail. Right to jail and do not collect $200. I'm not a lawyer, but after reviewing the video evidence I think life without parole is more than just for a situation like this and frankly, I'm being lenient. 

I get CU/CSU have beef, I lived in CO for a while once upon a time, but enough is enough. The blatant disrespect the Champs have received needs to be addressed and taking swings at Derrick White is the final straw. Also, shoutout to that buddy who kept Derrick away from unloading on that dude. Camp opens in 9 days and I don't need a broken hand or a suspension or anything of the sort right now. We've got the Nuggets in a few weeks in Abu Dhabi and I need a fully healthy Bald Derrick available for those games. 

I'm sure there will be some sort of "oooo I didn't know he was there" or whatever. Bullshit. Everyone knows when Derrick White is around because Derrick White rules. That guy thought he was going to be able to do something, and instead of accomplishing whatever he thought, he's now become Public Enemy #1 to every Celtic fan on the planet. Congrats Steve Kerr, you are now #2.

On a serious note, I cannot wait to see Derrick White play basketball again. What an incredible experience that was in 2023-24 and the good news is we're only getting started
