"I Think They’re Going To Be All Over Me. That's Fine" - Even Steve Kerr Knows The Hell That's Coming His Way When The Warriors Come To Boston This Season

A good grudge never goes away, it's something you carry with you until your last breath. No matter how much time passes, it's always and forever "fuck that guy". It takes something pretty drastic to reach this level, but once you've arrived, there's really no turning back.

Enter renowned bozo Steve Kerr.

I couldn't help but notice over the weekend a nice little interview the Team USA Steph/LeBron merchant head coach did about his experience and blah blah blah, and I happened to notice a certain question and answer that caught my attention

How did you leave it with the guys who didn’t play so much, specifically Jayson Tatum and Tyrese Haliburton?

Those guys were all great. Jayson handled things so well. Then obviously it became a media subject, but he couldn’t have handled it better. Tyrese, same thing. Every game was different. And we talked about that from the first night – 12 superstars and probably only nine can play consistent minutes.

They handled themselves really professionally and pulled for each other. I couldn’t be prouder of them all.

So when you go into Boston this season on Nov. 6 (7:30 ET, ESPN), how are Celtics fans…?

I think they’re going to be all over me. [laughs]. That’s fine.

Oh brother this dude is still doing the "rotation minutes" thing? First it was he couldn't play more than 10, then he played 11 and 12. Now it's that only 9 were guaranteed regular minutes? The gaslighting is still as strong as ever

Mind you, the only reason this is even a thing is because of a DNP-CD while Team USA found themselves down 19 points and were getting their asses handed to them. If not for Steph and LeBron going supernova, Team USA loses that game, so it's not as if everyone during that time was playing so well that Tatum couldn't see the floor. We know it, Kerr knows it, everyone knows it. What's infuriating is the flat out gaslighting and lying about the whole thing.

But alas, it's time to turn the page which brings us to November 6th

Uhhhhh yeah, Steve Kerr, Celts fans across the world and most especially in the Garden on November 6th are going to be all over that ass and then some. While the Warriors will always have that 2022 Finals (sigh), we saw the Celts exorcise those demons last year when Steve Kerr once again disrespected a Celtics star, Jaylen Brown. Deciding to flat out not guard him might be one of the most disrespectful things you can do to an All NBA caliber player. As a result, Jaylen went nuts and the Celts won by 50

You'll remember this is the same Steve Kerr that watched that performance and then still thought "ehhh you know what? This guys isn't quite good enough to make Team USA", so in reality he disrespected Jaylen twice, and then a third time when he wasn't named a replacement player as well. Then you add in everything that he did with Tatum at the Olympics and yeah, you're looking at Public Enemy #1 for those entire 48 minutes.

That used to be a role reserved for Draymond, but that beef has died down in my opinion until he tries something new. Any sane person wouldn't dare talk shit to Steph Curry given the fact that he's fully capable (and has) of ripping your heart out and forcing it down your own throat. But Steve Kerr?

I can feel the smugness through the text. If you thought the "Fuck Kyrie" stuff was a little much, Kerr has no idea what's coming. Not only is this a spiteful fanbase, but considering the fact that Jayson Tatum will never, ever, ever say publicly how he really felt about that situation, it's basically our job as fans to stand up for him and let this bozo have it. Every basketball mind on the planet both players/analysts etc are all in agreement on how fucked up that situation was on Kerr's behalf, and really the only ones who agree with what he did are very hurt opposing fanbases that have had to deal with Jayson Tatum repeatedly beating their favorite team.

So yeah, as long as you don't go too far and be an asshole about it, I say go nuts. Kerr has no one to blame but himself given what we all witnessed happen in Paris and I think it's rather likely we get the highest scoring performance of Tatum's career (currently 60).

It goes without saying though, you gotta win that November 6th game. Bury this Warriors Dynasty once and for all and then tell em to get fucked on the way out. Earlier versions of the Celts often found themselves getting bullied by this GS franchise. Hell, Jaylen even admitted as much last year that they weren't ready for them

But now? As champions motivated by disrespect? I need another 140-88 ass kicking like I need air to breathe.

See everyone on November 6th.
