Disgusting Phillies Fan Catches NYM Home Run Ball And Karate Kicks Child Wearing A Mets Jersey Before Chucking The Ball Back

Oh, the Phillies fan remained civilized and gave the ball to the kid in the Mets jersey? According to the national media the past 4000 generations, that's not what goes down in The City Of Brotherly Love. Of course you won't see this on ESPN or any sports show across the board. It doesn't fit the Philly Scumbag narrative. But even when The Fightins and Aaron Nola are getting SMOKED by the Mets at CBP, there is still humanity. If kids can do it for other kids in Philly, so should the grown adults in the room.

And I love how the MLB X account makes it an open ended question, "What would you have done?". Um...unlike that one NE Philly and/or Delco creature pressuring the actual human to throw the ball back, most people in this city are (somewhat) civilized and know the only answer is to give it to the kid. Any kid, no matter the jersey. Why? Because it's the decent thing to do. Now, if it were a Mets fan old enough to weigh over 110 pounds or Chris Klemmer? No dice. You chuck that ball into the infield ASAP like it was infected by the presence of Odubel Herrera. That's also the decent thing to do.

But good on this dude for making the kid's night and possibly his childhood. He's going to go thru enough in his life as a Mets fan. Let him have the home run ball.

PS - Throwback to this great clip from...15 years ago. Holy hell this team needs to win another World Series NOW.
