Surveillance Footage Shows Jon Bon Jovi Saving A Woman From Jumping Off A Nashville Pedestrian Bridge

Daily Mail - Rock icon Jon Bon Jovi could be seen on camera helping persuade a woman to step off the ledge of a bridge in Nashville. The singer stopped to coax the unidentified woman back over a railing on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the incident happened on Tuesday night while the 62-year-old was filming a music video on the walkway. Officers responded to the scene, with Nashville PD Chief John Drake applauding the actions of the star, saying: 'It takes all of us to help keep each other safe.' 

What a great line from the Nashville PD Police Chief - "It takes all of us to keep each other safe." 

It doesn't matter if you are Joe Blow, the overnight janitor, cleaning up WSD's dog shit stain on the carpet, or rock legend Jon Bon Jovi. We all share a connection as human beings, it's easy to forget sometimes, but sticking together is what will save us from a world gone mad. 

There's no conformation on what exactly Bon Jovi said to help get the woman down, and I'm not sure exactly what you do say to a stranger experiencing their absolute rock bottom, except show you care. Whatever was said, Bon Jovi proved you can be a multi-million dollar rock star and not be a total asshole. 

I know Bon Jovi's biggest hits, but I couldn't name a single deep cut on an album, or even the name of an album. I know Jon Bon Jovi as the guy who is always hanging out with Robert Kraft at Patriots games for the last two decades.  

Bon Jovi definitely makes bangers, but for awhile I was so sick of hearing Living On A Prayer, I boycotted all Bon Jovi music. It was nothing the band did, it was just that during cross country races in high school, Fort Wayne Carrol girls cross country team would stand at the halfway mark during a meets and sing "Ohhhh, you're halfway there." It annoyed the hell out of me then, and still to this day it irks me. But now, I'm going to blast some Bon Jovi on my walk to work, it's the right thing to do. If we as people could band together and listen to Nelly to raise money so he could pay his taxes in 2016, Bon Jovi deserves a billion streams in his honor for saving a human beings life.
