I'm Not Alone, Vikings Defensive Players Also Say They Felt Bad For Poor Daniel Jones As They Were Kicking His Ass On Sunday

You know when you're playing a game against a much smaller, or younger, or physically inferior opponent? Your son or daughter, kid brother or sister, niece or nephew, girlfriend or wife? You get the point. Be it a board game, basketball, video game whatever. Well you know when you're just dominating them and neither one of you is enjoying it anymore? To the point you start to feel a sense of guilt about how outmatched they are? The thought of letting them come back creeps into your mind? Well it appears linebacker Jon Greenard and the rest of his Vikings teammates had that same feeling of empathy towards poor Daniel Jones this Sunday. Not the part about letting him come back, but the guilt about how bad they were kicking his ass.

Reags wrote a blog saying there is no possible way anybody can feel bad for the guy, and asked if I was trolling Giants fans when I said "you can't help but feel bad for the guy", but apparently I was not alone.

During the Minnesota drubbing of Jones, en route to his 22-of-42 for 186 yards, 2 INTs (1 of which was a pick 6), 5 sacks and 1,000 hurries peformance, it turns out that according to Greenard, they were having their way with Jones so much so, that they “felt bad for him.”

Jonathan Greenard went on KFAN 100.3 in Minnesota yesterday and said. ““We kind of started to feel a little bit bad for him as we’re still just completely taking away everything he wants to do. Hey, it’s good to be on the other side of it, and it’s our job to not be on that side.”

The Giants couldn't sniff the endzone in their 28-6 ass kicking. But I'm not sure it gets more emasculating than the team you got dominated by saying they pity you. I don't think its possible to say something more demeaning in football.

New up for Danny Dimes are the Commanders and the Browns. Despite getting worked by Dallas on Sunday, Clevelands defense is no joke. So if Jones is going to continue to see the field, he's gotta eek out a win against Washington.
