The Falcons Were So Bad in Week 1 That Their Fans Started Fighting Each Other

Honestly, I get it. If I waited all offseason to see a team that everyone thought was going to cakewalk to a division title and paid $500 to go watch the product the Falcons put on the field Sunday, I'd probably be in the mood to kick somebody's ass, too.

Normally you'd see fans of opposing teams fighting one another, but the Falcons are so terrible that the fans are just in the mood to hit whoever is in front of them.

Big Mike Penix should have walked away from this scrap when it was broken up the first time, because No. 70 more than handled his business — even while wearing a comically large chain. If he didn't have that monstrosity weighing him down, there's no telling how bad this could have been.

I'd just like to have one season where maybe the Falcons are competitive enough to have people be happy to show up to the games. I guarantee you there hasn't been a fight between two Chiefs fans at a game in the last decade because every time they show up to Arrowhead Stadium, their team kicks ass and everyone is having a great time. Must be nice.
