For The Love of God... DO NOT Call Dan Bernstein of The Bernstein & Holmes Show, "Bernstein"

This clip got me good. I must have watched it nearly 100 times since Chuck tweeted it out this morning. Our own Eddie (Barstool) did a 4 hour radio show last Thursday on 670 The Score with Matt Spiegel. The show leading into Eddie and Spiegel's (hope that does not offend) show, is co-hosted by Dan Bernstein and Laurence Holmes. The show is titled Bernstein & Holmes. But for the love of god do NOT call Dan Bernstein of Bernstein & Holmes by the name Bernstein. That's a bridge too far Eddie. You should know better. He's been at The Score for over 30 years. Show some respect. He's a 62 year old man. You should address him as "Bernsy".

Watching Bernsy go from happily shimmying in place, in the midst of the most lighthearted nothing conversation about horoscopes you could ever imagine, to staring daggers through Eddie's soul...

Then the sheer disgust on his face afterwards.

Shame on you Eddie!! When you do local radio shows, you're representing all of Barstool. You can't just be going around calling radio hosts by the name that's on the bill of their show and plastered all over the studio and internet.

From what I gather on Reddit, people seem to think Bernsy hates Barstool. I can't necessarily find any real concrete examples of that, but everyone says it's true, so I'm gonna go ahead and believe it. I did find that White Sox Dave has a blog ripping him for a tweet where he seemed to call White Sox fans who supported Tony LaRussa racist.

There's also a Big Cat blog from 2015 where Bernsy got in trouble with Michelle Beadle and Katie Nolan for tweeting about sports journalist Aiyana Cristal's boobs.

Maybe this is just Bernstein having an axe to grind with all of Barstool, and was looking for anything to get confrontational with Eddie about. Or maybe he's just good at his job and knows if he's an asshole to Eddie that it will eventually get clipped, and Dave will tweet it, and people will talk about him on the internet for a few hours. An all publicity is good publicity type of thing.

Anyways, the moral of the story is that Eddie made all of Barstool Sports look unprofessional by having to audacity to call Bernsy by the government name his show is named after. I thought we were better than that as a company. Be better Eddie. And for the love of god, to anybody reading this, whatever you do… DO NOT CALL THIS MAN BERSTEIN

NOTE: For the record, I Dave started a war with Bernstein. Then after it was published I saw Dave's tweet and threw it in there. I'm obviously joking about shaming Eddie. Be sure to call Bernstein, Bernstein as much as humanly possible
