I Am Now The Preeminent Caramel Reviewer In The World

I was up in Door County, Wisconsin on Friday and Saturday and was walking around the quaint downtowns. Inside one of the candy shops there were a bunch of unbranded caramels. This seemed unique to the area as when my flight landed in Green Bay, the one news stand they had also had some unmarked caramels. They came in different flavors, so I decided to start reviewing different types, starting with the classic salted caramel.

But we moved on to a Door County speciality, Cherry Caramel. Door County is known far and wide for their cherries, so certainly this would offer a local twist:

And while that was delightful, I also tried Pecan Caramel. I love candied pecans. They're the tops. But pecans mixed in with caramel? Now that was something different!

That was a very fun first season of Caramel Reviews. I'm looking forward to more! The Yak is as well.

Catch the full Yak here and shoot me a DM if you've got some caramels you want rated! I'm a man of the people.
