Who Is More Generational- Sydney Sweeney or Patrick Mahomes?

Very important debate just happened around the water cooler at Barstool Sports: Who is more generational- Patrick Mahomes or Sydney Sweeney? You can use whatever criteria you want to decide, as both are at the absolute top of their game right now, albeit in different ways. But they are more similar than you think- when either Patrick or Sydney is on TV, you are tuned in. When Sydney drops a new IG, it's headline news, similar to when Mahomes throws a TD pass. They both have revolutionized their respective games, making their fans hoot and holler…and in many cases, get on all 4 and start barking.

But on the other hand, Mahomes can do this:

I've never seen Sydney Sweeney lead a game-winning drive, but I've also never seen Patrick Mahomes change lives by simply eating an ice cream cone.

So here's where it gets tricky- does Sydney need to win the big one before she can be considered generational? After all, she is in the acting business. Does she need to win an acting award (Oscar, Emmy, Golden Globe) to be mentioned as an all time great? Or is she not in the business for the hardware, and her movies like Anyone But You and her scenes in Euphoria more than enough?

Finally, you need to think about who came before them. Mahomes isn't at Tom Brady's level quite yet, and Sweeney needs to prove she's not just the flavor of the week. After all, there was a time where Lindsay Lohan was the hottest thing in Hollywood, and she ended up having an RG3-esque career after Mean Girls. (God damn that's a great comparison, shout out to me).

At this point, I think it's too close to call. I could hear arguments for either. So who you got- Mahomes or Sweeney?
