Nebraska Beat Colorado's Ass and Then Danced to Shedeur Sanders's Song in the Locker Room

The hits just keep coming for Colorado. Going to Nebraska was the Buffs' chance to prove they had made strides this season and could compete with real teams and they showed up and got their asses whooped — the 18-point loss wasn't even indicative of how badly the Cornhuskers outplayed CU. And then to add insult to injury, Nebraska blared Shedeur Sanders's song in the locker room as they celebrated the win.

This is what Colorado has asked for, though. When your quarterback is spending his off-season as a wannabe rapper and you go out of your way to put a target on your back, teams are going to rub your nose in it when they get the chance. You would think following a 4-8 season and with a team that didn't really improve all that much, Colorado might have toned down the hype and tried to take care of its business quietly this time around. But it seems like the Buffs still want to be the most talked-about team in the country, so I guess we'll keep talking about them getting killed six or seven more times this season and being subsequently meme'd to death.

This game could be a big stepping stone for the Huskers. I think there's a real chance they're 7-0 when they travel to Ohio State on October 26. Maybe this win was Perfect Timing.
