Rich Eisen Asked Travis Kelce About Taylor Swift Trying To Submit Offensive Plays Geared Towards Her Boy-Toy, But Travis Said He Hasn't Run Them By Andy Reid Yet

NFL - With only two days left before the Kansas City Chiefs kick off the season, it appears Taylor Swift's playbook ideas have yet to be installed.

Swift's beau and the Chiefs' All-Pro tight end, Travis Kelce, said the pop megastar's ideas -- which might be a little tight end centric -- haven't made it to head coach Andy Reid just yet.

"I know none of the plays have gotten to coach Reid yet, but if they ever do, I'll make sure everyone knows it was her creation," Kelce joked in an appearance on the Rich Eisen Show.

As Kansas City went 9-3 with Swift in attendance, including winning a second straight Super Bowl, the popstar also developed her love and knowledge for the game, Kelce said.

So much so that Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said recently Swift had been drawing up plays.

However, Kelce pointed out she leans a little tight end heavy in her offensive coordinating.

"She's a little biased and just creates plays for me," Kelce said, "so we'll see if they can make it to coach Reid's office."

Reags blogged Patrick Mahomes casually dropping this tidbit last week.

Anytime something newsworthy drops in regards to Taylor Swift, it is our job at Barstool Sports to cover it. That goes for double when it involves her and SPORTS. Those are direct orders from the nose at the top, Portnoy himself. Taylor Watch. Ever heard of it? It's a team effort around here. If low hanging fruit like this goes unblogged over night, then I have no other choice than to pull over on the side of I94 and cover this. It's called being a team player.

(Perfect segue) Speaking of team players, how about Taylor Swift huh?

She went from not knowing what the hell a first down was a little over a year ago, to now drawing up sluggo seam routes and quick hit y-stick playcalls for her man.

What can't this woman do?

Spiteful bitter men will find a way to hate on this. But it's only because they are in loveless relationships or because they're mad at their dads.

And knowing Taylor's obsessive personality, it's probably safe to assume she poured over hours and hours of old Football Life episodes of Vince Lombardi illustrating his play designs for inspiration.

I think it's a double edged sword having a girlfriend who's so interested in football that she knows X's and O's. On the one hand, she wouldn't bust your balls about watching football 4 nights and 2 days a week. On the other hand, there's a fine line between being cool with you watching sports obsessively and trying way too hard to be one of the guys.

These two are in love. Simple as that. Taylor is involving herself in Travis' profession, and vice versa as well, as evidenced from a couple months ago in London.

In between winning Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers and Thursday's season opener against the Baltimore Ravens, Kelce took some time to travel.

He memorably appeared on stage during Swift's Eras Tour stop in London, donning a top hat and tux while carrying Swift across part of the stage to a broken-hearted couch.

Kelce admitted to Eisen that, thanks to Swift, the prep for his appearance wasn't too complicated, though that didn't expunge all his apprehension.

"It wasn't a lot," he said. "Taylor knew when the lights are on, I'm going to have some fun. She put me in a position to where I didn't have to do much for it to be a success. She put me in a really comfortable part of the show. I was just there not to screw anything up. I mentioned it on (the) New Heights (podcast), I just didn't want to drop her when I was carrying her on the stage."

"I'm always down to have some fun on stage with Tay-Tay," said the three-time Super Bowl winner.

(Sidebar - kind of a red flag there from Travis calling his girl "Tay-Tay" like my friend 6-year-old daughter, but I'll allow it this once.)

How jealous do you think Brittany Mahomes is of all this?

Poor Patrick has probably been getting flooded with butterfly stationary scribbled "plays" from his wife, with hostage demands to name them after her and run them this season. Now that Eisen mentioned this and made it public, he's fucked.

This has been Dante for Taylor Watch. Over and out. The next breaking Taylor story, you know who's got you.
