DirecTV Shut Off All Disney-Owned Channels Right Before ABC Was Set To Broadcast the LSU-USC Game

Oh hell no. I'm not a DirecTV subscriber, but if I lost ABC and ESPN on September 1 — much less minutes before the LSU-USC game — I would be on the phone dog cussing some poor customer service agent. Maybe that makes me a bad person, but somebody over at DirecTV would be hearing from me immediately.

Doing this minutes before the only college football game of the day is diabolical. If the contract was up today, DirecTV would have presumably turned off the channels this morning. But they know doing it when they did creates an ordeal and theoretically puts more pressure on Disney to resolve the dispute — though, again, I would be far more pissed off at DirecTV if I were a subscriber.

Thoughts and prayers to everyone out there who is a victim of this stunt. You didn't deserve this.
